Cabinet pricing is driven by four things: construction (stock, semi-custom, or custom), door style and finish, box materials, and the accessories that make a kitchen work — pull-outs, panels, fillers, and trim.

What moves the number most
Painted finishes typically cost more than stains. Inset construction costs more than overlay. Plywood boxes cost more than particleboard but hold up better in Florida humidity.
Freight, delivery, and installation are real costs that some quotes leave out. Ask whether they're included.
