Stock vs. Semi-Custom vs. Custom Cabinets
The real differences — sizes, finishes, lead times, and where each makes sense.
Stock cabinets come in fixed sizes (usually 3" increments) and a limited palette, with the fastest lead times. Semi-custom lines add more sizes, finishes, and modifications. Custom is built to your drawing in any size or color, with the longest lead time.
Which is right for you?
If your layout is standard and your timeline is short, stock or semi-custom often gets you 90% of the look. If you want inset doors, unusual sizes, or an exact color match, custom is worth the wait.
